Make ahead easy pie crust (makes 20 pie crusts)

- 4 cans drained french style green beans
- 8 oz. sliced mushrooms
- 1 onion chopped or 1 container french fried onions
- 1/4 cup bacon grease or butter
- 2 Tbs. flour
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- optional - sliced almonds
Sauté mushrooms in butter.
Chopped onion can be added to sauté if you choose not to use french fried onions later.
Add 2 Tbs. flour, or enough to absorb all moisture when stirred in.
Add milk a little at a time, stirring constantly until slightly thickened.
Add other seasonings to 9x13 pan with beans.
Add mushroom sauce and 1/2 pkg. french fried onions (if using them).
Mix thoroughly. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
Add the rest of the french fried onions or sliced almonds (if making totally from scratch).
Bake 5 more minutes.
