Make ahead easy pie crust (makes 20 pie crusts)

Cake:
- 3 TBS. butter (very soft)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 TBS. baking powder
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- 2 cups fresh cranberries
Sauce:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup evaporated milk (or cream, or half & half)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup sugar
Mix butter, sugar and egg in bowl.
Add dry ingredients. Mix. Add vanilla, cranberries and nuts just until combined.
Spread into a greased 9x13 pan.
Bake at 350 for about 1 hour or until golden brown on top.
Meanwhile, prepare sauce in pan on medium heat by slowing stirring all ingredients.
Barely bring to a boil to dissolve sugar.
It should look like this. Cool before serving.
Cake looks brown like this when it is done.
Pour sauce over top of each piece. You may need a bowl to allow for more sauce :)
